WARNING: EXTREMELY CUTE PUPPY PICS AHEAD
Okay but seriously, I think it should be a rule that everyone brings their puppy to their senior photo shoot. I have so much to say about this session I don't know where to begin! We spent the day exploring Raleigh, North Carolina while we ate a few too many munchkins and shot all these lovely images! From an art museum, to a (surprisingly strenuous) hike up a beautiful hill, to Downtown Wake Forest, every spot was seriously more gorgeous than the last, and the hikes and sweat were totally worth it. My photographer brain was internally screaming of joy every time we found a new spot. We then ended the session back at Olivia's house where we took some pictures of the one and only... MILO THE LABRADOODLE. Hands down cutest puppy I've ever met. Is "puppy photographer" a career choice? If so, sign me up. ANYWAYS... I am so excited about all the pictures we created during this session! Big thank you to Olivia and her family for letting me stay with them while I visited Raleigh! I met Olivia a few years ago at Blue Ridge Leaders School- aka our favorite place on earth- and from the day I met her she has been a legitimate ray of sunshine. This girl has SUCH a big heart for the world, and everyone around her and I am so lucky to call her a friend :) Now go show her and milo some love in the comments!

Holy moly... get ready to see one of my favorite sessions EVER!
I flew up to Raleigh, NC last weekend for some senior sessions, and Katie's was my first of the weekend. We started early Saturday morning on her Grandfather's farm, and the location was SO BEAUTIFUL! I got to photograph Katie with the horses on the farm, we explored a little abandoned house (and got some perfect shots from it), and danced around in big sun-lit fields (talk about dreamy backlighting!!) If you're reading this and thinking of doing your session on a farm, 11/10 recommend. You're going to fall in love with the pictures below. Katie was also such a JOY to hang out with! She has such a bubbly and contagious smile, and I loved hearing all about her plans to become a vet in the future. I can't wait to see her graduate this year and start the next chapter of her life in college! You're going to do amazing things Katie :) Check out my favorites from this session! Comment below and let me know which are your favorite! Today's blog post is a very special one because... It's time for you to meet my gorgeous friend Caroline!! Not only does this girl light up every room with her big smile, but she also touches everyone she meets with her even bigger heart.
I met this gal many years ago, and its safe to say she's had a pretty big impact on my life. Her drive to fight for what she believes is so inspiring, and watching her grow into the woman she is today has been such a wonderful joy. She lives by the motto "How will you know if you never try", and let me tell you, I have learned so much from the intentional life this girl leads each day. We woke up bright and early for this Honeymoon Island beach shoot so we could chasing after the morning light I just LOVE capturing, and boy oh boy were we blessed with some great weather. Caroline's pictures turned out SO beautiful, and even though her dress was pretty soaked by the end of the shoot (If you know us, you know we'll do just about anything for the perfect shot) we couldn't have had more fun! Thank you for lighting up my life, Caroline. Enjoy some of the highlights from our shoot :) Senior sessions are most definitely some of my favorite sessions to photograph! I'm always blessed with the sweetest and most easy going girls, and I just can't wait to deliver their galleries to them and see the smiles on their faces!
We took Shannon's senior pictures in the beautiful heart of Downtown Tampa, and it was definitely worth the early morning! The skies could not have been more beautiful and we had a blast exploring little bits of Tampa while getting these shots. (Also can we talk about how gorgeous her maroon dress is?!) Shannon was so fun to photograph and rocked every second in front of the camera! Also a huge thanks to Molly, one of my previous senior clients, for coming along and adding to the fun! Bringing your best friend along to your shoot is definitely helpful for carrying your outfits and making you laugh for pictures... but shhh... we'll pretend it was my hilarious jokes that brought out the laughs :) So obsessed with how these pictures turned out, here's a couple of my favorites to enjoy! |
